Our Blueprint: A Vision for Central Oregon’s Children
We're not just opening a museum, we're creating a place where curiosity, creativity, and connection thrive. Built from community input and STEAM expertise, Ruckus is designed to inspire children with dynamic exhibits, enriching programs, and a space that reflects their needs.
Every experience is intentionally designed to spark curiosity through hands-on exploration. Children are invited to ask questions, solve problems, create, collaborate, experiment, and discover for themselves.

Mission: To spark curiosity and creativity through playful STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, the Arts, and Math) learning
DISCOVER OUR MUSEUM ZONES
Exhibits and programs are intentionally aligned to state and national learning standards, so the playful learning happening at Ruckus connects directly to what kids are learning in school. There will be indoor and outdoor play zones as well as traveling exhibits which invite children to question, experiment and discover for themselves.
