Since 2015, Ruckus (formerly the Children's Museum of Central Oregon) has brought hands-on STEAM learning to families through pop-up events, programs and partnerships across Crook, Deschutes and Jefferson counties.

Our Mobile Museum’s outreach, partnerships and growth has proven there’s a regional demand for STEAM-based educational opportunities that spark curiosity and creativity among young minds.

Coming to life in 2027, we will open our first physical location in Bend's Central District. We're not just opening a museum, we're creating a place where curiosity, creativity, and connection thrive. Built from community input and STEAM expertise, Ruckus is designed to inspire children with dynamic exhibits, enriching programs, and a space that inspires wild ideas and connections.
